Fitbit quietly announced today the third generation of its Fitbit Charge health and fitness tracker, the Fitbit Charge 3, which the company says it's the most advanced fitness tracker they've ever built.
Promising to help you know everything there is to know about your body, as well as to understand your health and improve yourself, the Fitbit Charge 3 health and fitness tracker features 24/7 heart rate tracking, automatic fitness & sleep tracking, smartphone notifications, as well as contactless payments.
Best of all, Fitbit Charge 3 promises to offer users up to seven days of battery life on normal usage, something other fitness trackers can't offer. Also. Fitbit Charge 3 is water resistant to up to 50M so you can wear it during your swimming sessions or when you want to take a bath in the ocean or sea in your summer vacations.
"Fitbit Charge 3 reveals insights about your body, your fitness and everything in between – because the better you know yourself, the better you can be," said Fitbit. "The more you wear Charge 3, the more you learn about yourself and your workouts so you can start making changes that matter."
Fitbit Charge 3 features female health tracking
Fitbit Charge 3 also features female health tracking, which will make it quite popular among female fitness users. The feature was recently added by Fitbit to its Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa smartwatches, but it's now also available on its most advanced health and fitness tracker, the Fitbit Charge 3.
Other cool new features of the Fitbit Charge 3 include automatic exercise recognition for runs, swims, elliptical, sports and many others, support for more than 15 goal-based exercises, real-time pace and distance via your phone's GPS for runners, regular reminders to move, and personalized guided breathing.
New design, new experiences
Fitbit Charge 3 features a new design with a smarter, sharper, and larger touchscreen back-lit display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which automatically adjusts itself to the lighting conditions around you, and comes with a durable and lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum case that's comfortable to use all the time.
It's available in four colors, including Black/Graphite, Blue-Grey/Rose-Gold, Frost White Sport Band/Graphite, and Lavender Woven Band/Rose Gold with special editions featuring extra bands and Fitbit Pay contactless payments.
