HTC is expected to launch a few Android smartphones in China next month, such as the One E9, One E9+ and One M9+. However, it looks like the Taiwanese company plans to unveil a tablet as well.

A new report coming from China suggests that HTC T1H is the next tablet the company will announce next month. Luckily, the report also mentions most of the T1H's specs, so we know what to expect from HTC's tablet.

First of all, the slate will measure 228.35 x 153.67 x 7.88mm. It will sport an 8.9-inch QXGA (2048 x 1530 pixels) resolution and a generous 6,700 mAh battery that should be enough for at least 2 days of medium use.

Curious enough, on the inside, HTC T1H will be equipped with an Allwinner SoC (system on chip), which is built using a new 28nm technology. The SoC will pack a PowerVR SGX544 graphics processing unit and a 2.2GHz octa-core processor.

The tablet will pack 2GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of internal memory. No word on microSD card slot, but we know the slate will feature an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera.

Two models will be available on the market

The T1H will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box with HTC Sense 7.0 user interface on top.

Other confirmed specs for HTC T1H include BoomSound technology, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LTE support. Speaking of LTE, it looks like HTC will launch two versions of its T1H tablet.

Customers will be able to pick up the Wi-Fi only HTC T1H which will be the cheapest of the two, or the LTE model that's supposed to cost slightly more.

We don't know whether or not the tablet will make it to market in April or in the months. Still, it's expected that the tablet will first be available in China.
